The My Very Own Library program partnered with the University of Chicago through the 2022-23 academic year. MVOL has been a remarkable program that has brought over 2 million books to children in the last four years alone, while fostering direct engagement with authors and literacy support for families. The impact of the program will be the lasting love of reading and pride of ownership it has instilled in thousands of kids.

 

The University of Chicago remains committed to extending our core educational mission through a range of programs designed to provide Chicago students, from pre-kindergarten through high school, with the knowledge and skills they will need to succeed in college and beyond.
